Colorado State Rams unveil 2026 soccer schedule for Pac-12 debut

A comprehensive slate features early tests against NCAA tournament teams and a new conference championship format

Colorado State University announced this week that its men’s soccer team will open the 2026 campaign with a full schedule that blends non-conference challenges and the first ever Pac-12 slate.

The season kicks off with an exhibition match against Nebraska on August 5, followed by a road test at Boulder where the Rams will meet Colorado on August 12. A home game against Denver follows on August 16, and the team travels to Greeley to face Northern Colorado on August 23.

Non-conference highlights

Beyond the early stretch, the non-conference portion includes contests with South Carolina, Kansas State, BYU and a trio of Power Four programs, while former Mountain West rivals Wyoming and Colorado College also appear on the slate. The final non-conference fixture is slated for September 25 against Weber State.

Conference play begins on October 1 at Fresno State, and the Rams will host Utah State four days later in their first home Pac-12 matchup. Additional home games against Gonzaga and Washington State are scheduled, while road trips take the team to San Diego State, Texas State and Oregon State.

Championship outlook

The regular season will wrap up with a series of matches that set the stage for the inaugural Pac-12 championship, where the top four teams will meet in semifinals on November 11 or 12. The host venue for that event will be decided by the highest non-conference RPI, adding a strategic element to the final stretch.
