On June 8, Colt Hauser announced his commitment to NC State football, joining the Wolfpack as a three-star recruit in the Class of 2027.
A recent transfer from Jensen Beach, he arrived at Cardinal Newman before the 2025 season and played a key role in the team’s FHSAA Class 1A state championship victory over Chaminade-Madonna.
Ranked No. 177 among Florida offensive line prospects by 247 Sports, Hauser entered the recruiting cycle with 12 Division I offers, including those from North Carolina, Duke and West Virginia.
After careful consideration, he selected NC State from that pool, citing the program’s fit with his goals.
