On a crisp Saturday morning at Belmont Hills Country Club, former Ohio high school star Colton McKivitz teed off for the second edition of his charity golf classic, a event that has quickly become a cornerstone of community support for local athletics.
A Day of Play and Purpose
The tournament featured a shotgun start, followed by a relaxed lunch and a hearty steak dinner that kept participants fueled through eighteen holes. Attendees also had the chance to win skill contests and door prizes, adding a festive atmosphere to the charitable cause.
More than thirty foursomes signed up for the day, reflecting the growing enthusiasm for McKivitz’s initiative. The gathering brought together families, local business owners, and alumni, all united by the goal of enhancing the football program at Union Local High School.
McKivitz, now in his seventh season as an NFL tackle with the San Francisco 49ers, spoke passionately about the importance of giving back to the community that helped shape his career.
