The Barrie Colts Hockey Club has officially signed forward Rocco Olek to an Ontario Hockey League Scholarship and Development Agreement, marking a new addition to the team’s roster for the upcoming season.
Olek, a native of Ashburn, Virginia, arrives in Barrie standing 6‑foot‑3 and weighing 183 pounds, bringing a physical presence that complements his offensive skill set.
During the 2025–26 campaign with the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite, he tallied 12 goals and 24 assists for a total of 36 points across 48 games, a performance that highlighted his blend of size, speed and hockey IQ.
