A Season of Recognition
Among the honorees, Jack Kail stood out by earning both the Lou Gehrig Most Valuable Player award and the Mr. Hustle Award. His .337 batting average and 37 runs batted in anchored the Lions’ offense throughout the campaign.
On the mound, Thomas Santana and Evan Kleinhans shared the Cy Young honor, rewarding their dominant pitching displays that helped shape the team’s competitive edge.
Freshman Charlie Slabaugh earned Rookie of the Year after appearing in 25 games, providing depth and reliability that proved vital for the squad.
Cole Fellows received the Joseph Allen Award in recognition of his inspirational leadership and sportsmanship, qualities that resonated throughout the locker room.
Finally, Ben Seminara was presented with the Alexander Aurrichio Core Values Award, underscoring his commitment to the team’s guiding principles.
