A 30-game slate highlights non-conference trips, Puerto Rico showcase and a home-court surge

A demanding 30‑game schedule

Concord University’s women’s basketball program has released its full 2026‑27 schedule, a 30‑game lineup that blends a heavy Mountain East Conference slate with a handful of non‑conference road trips.

The season opens at home against Ferrum, the alma mater of alumna Tesla Southcott, on November 9, before a two‑game stretch at Seton Hill and Lock Haven as part of the MEC‑PSAC Challenge on November 13‑14.

After a brief road swing to Mercer County and Winston‑Salem State, the team heads to Puerto Rico for back‑to‑back contests on November 25 and 27, then returns to the Carter Center on December 5 to face West Liberty.

The home schedule continues with a December 9 matchup against Frostburg State, followed by road games at Fairmont State and West Virginia State in mid‑December, and a December 30 visit from UVa‑Wise.

January brings a string of home games against Charleston, Glenville State and Davis & Elkins, punctuated by a lone road game at West Virginia Wesleyan on January 6, before the team travels to Point Park, Shawnee State and West Liberty to close the month.

February sees the Mountaineers host Wheeling, West Virginia Wesleyan and West Virginia State, while also visiting Glenville State, before a late‑season surge that includes home wins over Point Park and Shawnee State on February 24 and 27.

The Mountain East Conference Tournament is set for March 3‑7 at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, marking the first time since 2018‑19 that Concord will not open conference play against Charleston or West Virginia State.
