Conference USA Announces 2026‑27 Women’s Basketball Schedule

Western Kentucky prepares for a packed slate featuring a rematch with Missouri State and a showdown against Middle Tennessee.

Conference USA has released its full women's basketball schedule for the 2026‑27 season, outlining an 18‑game conference slate that will run from January through March.

Western Kentucky University (WKU) is slated to meet each of its Conference USA rivals twice, playing both home and away, with the first contests scheduled at home against Kennesaw State and Jacksonville State.

Key Matchups to Watch

The lineup features several storylines, including a rematch with Missouri State — a team WKU defeated in the 1992 Final Four — and a much‑anticipated clash with Middle Tennessee, the program's most frequent opponent. Additional road trips will take WKU to New Mexico State and Sam Houston, while the team will also host Delaware and Liberty, against whom it split games last season.

A three‑game homestand in February will see WKU welcome FIU, Missouri State and Middle Tennessee, before the regular season concludes with road games at Jacksonville State and Kennesaw State. The non‑conference schedule remains to be announced.

WKU enters the season with a strong historical footprint, boasting a 38‑15 record against FIU and a 7‑5 edge over New Mexico State, underscoring the potential for further growth as the new schedule unfolds.
