Conference USA announced the 2026‑27 women's basketball conference schedule on July 9, laying out an 18‑game slate for each of its ten members.
With the league now at ten teams, every program will meet each opponent twice, creating a balanced double‑round‑robin format.
Missouri State will open conference play in January with home contests against Sam Houston and New Mexico State, followed by additional home games versus FIU, Western Kentucky and Middle Tennessee.
The Lady Bears will also travel to Delaware, Liberty, Kennesaw State and Jacksonville State for four road games later in the month.
February brings a mix of home and away fixtures: Missouri State will host Liberty, Delaware, Kennesaw State and Jacksonville State at Great Southern Bank Arena, while embarking on a three‑game road swing at FIU, Middle Tennessee and Western Kentucky.
The regular season will wrap up in March with road games at New Mexico State and Sam Houston, leading into the Conference USA Basketball Championships at Propst Arena in Huntsville, Alabama, scheduled for March 9‑13.
A packed schedule ahead
Head coach Beth Cunningham, who guided the team to a 23‑13 record last season, is entering her second year after securing the program’s first-ever Conference USA Tournament championship and an 18th NCAA Tournament appearance.
Missouri State returns seven players from that campaign and welcomes seven newcomers, including four freshmen and three transfers, positioning the roster for continued growth.
