Jones’s career path has been marked by diverse experiences. He served as an assistant at Princeton, where he helped shape young talent, and spent two years as a college scout for the Vegas Golden Knights, a period that deepened his understanding of player development. Before those roles, he enjoyed a professional playing stint that included time in the AHL, ECHL, and NHL, as well as overseas seasons in Switzerland and Sweden, and a collegiate career at Quinnipiac University.
Team owner David Hodges welcomed Jones and his family, highlighting the coach’s fresh perspective and his ability to connect with players. Hodges said he looks forward to seeing how Jones’s vision will translate into on‑ice performance and community engagement.
