Conor Daly, an Indiana‑born driver with a diverse motorsport résumé, has agreed to a deal that will see him take the wheel of the No. 25 Kaulig Racing Chevrolet Silverado at Indianapolis Raceway Park later this summer. The agreement marks his seventh start in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and his second appearance at the 0.75‑mile track.
A career built on endurance and road‑course skill
Daly’s racing portfolio stretches across multiple disciplines. He has contested the Indianapolis 500, the NASCAR Cup Series, and the NASCAR O'Reilly Series, logging three starts in each. His best finish in the Truck Series to date came at Kansas in 2024, where he crossed the line in 17th place. In the 2023 Daytona 500 he finished 29th, and earlier this year he placed 12th in the 110th running of the Indy 500, leading four laps and posting a personal best sixth‑place finish in the event.
Beyond oval racing, Daly has amassed 133 IndyCar starts, earning two podiums and a pole position. His road‑course credentials, highlighted by a sixth‑place finish in the Indy 500, have made him a versatile competitor, capable of adapting to the demands of short tracks like IRP.
Joining a five‑truck lineup
Kaulig Racing will field a five‑truck fleet for the upcoming season, with Daly joining Corey LaJoie, Brenden 'Butterbean' Queen, Mini Tyrrell, and Justin Haley. The lineup promises a blend of experience and fresh talent, with Daly’s addition expected to bolster the team’s performance on tracks that reward strategic overtaking and late‑race momentum.
