The North Carolina Courage, one of the most decorated teams in the National Women’s Soccer League, has announced a partnership with the First Horizon Foundation to create a new soccer‑themed exhibit at Raleigh’s Marbles Kids Museum.
The exhibit, scheduled to open by 2028, will be developed jointly by the Courage, the foundation and the museum, blending the organization’s sports expertise with the museum’s educational focus.
Located in downtown Raleigh adjacent to Moore Square, Marbles Kids Museum will host the interactive space designed to let children explore the game through hands‑on activities and multimedia displays.
Programming and special events will accompany the exhibit, offering workshops, player meet‑and‑greets and community celebrations that highlight the growing influence of soccer in the region.
A Legacy of Excellence
The Courage, who compete in the NWSL, have amassed seven major trophies, including two league championships and three regular‑season shields, underscoring their prominence on the field.
First Horizon Foundation, the charitable arm of First Horizon National Corporation, will provide funding and strategic support to ensure the exhibit aligns with broader community outreach goals.
Marbles Kids Museum, a nonprofit dedicated to sparking imagination and discovery through play, sees the partnership as a natural extension of its mission to fuse learning with fun.
