The College of Southern Idaho is set to host its annual girls basketball camp from June 24 through June 26, inviting 19 varsity and junior varsity teams from across Idaho to compete in a series of games that will total 57 over the three‑day period.
A Showcase for Local Talent
The three‑day camp will feature 57 games played across three venues in Twin Falls, giving each of the 19 participating teams multiple opportunities to compete.
CSI and Twin Falls High School each operate two courts, while Canyon Ridge High School contributes a single court, a layout that enables the schedule to run smoothly and ensures teams receive adequate playing time.
Brenden Wheeler, who recently took over as CSI’s women’s head coach, describes the camp as a dual‑purpose event: a public showcase for Idaho’s high school programs and a strategic recruitment pipeline that could elevate the college’s profile among prospective athletes.
Teams from Twin Falls and Kimberly are slated to play four additional games during the camp, with their final contests scheduled for Wednesday, providing a competitive finale that underscores the event’s significance for local basketball.
