A Season of Resilience
Jonah Inman of Cullman refused to let a series of surgeries define his future. Instead, he turned each setback into motivation, emerging onto the diamond with a determination that quickly became the talk of the league.
His performance translated into numbers that turned heads: a .375 batting average, a .493 on‑base percentage and a 1.310 OPS that placed him among the most potent hitters in Class 6A. He added 45 hits, 42 RBIs, 12 home runs and a handful of extra‑base hits that underscored his all‑around threat.
Beyond the stat sheet, Inman’s presence reshaped the team’s culture. His work ethic and willingness to lead by example sparked a revival that lifted the entire squad, turning a season of uncertainty into one of optimism and winning.
Recognition Across the Board
The accolades extended beyond Inman. Carter Rutherford from Good Hope was celebrated as Hitter of the Year, while Hunter Barron of Fairview earned Pitcher of the Year honors. Lee Williams of Addison was named Coach of the Year, completing a sweep of top awards for the region.
These honors reflect not only individual talent but also the strength of the schools involved. Cullman High School, Good Hope High School, Fairview High School and Addison High School each contributed to a competitive landscape that highlighted the depth of Alabama baseball.
