Curtis Grant Jr. has been hired as the new director of player development for the Wisconsin football program, a role that highlights the Badgers’ focus on navigating the increasingly complex landscape of college athletics.
Grant brings a deep reservoir of experience from his time at Ohio State, where he was a key contributor on the 2014 College Football Playoff national championship team. His tenure under head coach Luke Fickell forged a strong bond that Fickell continues to value.
Before returning to the collegiate ranks, Grant spent several seasons in the NFL, earning contracts with the Chargers, Falcons, Titans, Raiders, 49ers and Giants. That professional exposure equips him with insights into player transitions and the business side of the sport.
