Preseason outlook
The Dallas Stars have released their 2026 preseason schedule, confirming four exhibition games that will see the team open the campaign on the road against the St. Louis Blues on September 19.
Two of the matches are slated to be played at the American Airlines Center, giving fans in Dallas a chance to see the squad before the regular season begins.
Ahead of the first game, the Stars will conduct their training camp starting September 17 at Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas, where prospects will get a chance to impress coaches.
From September 12 to 15, the club will also take part in the Prospect Tournament in Detroit, Michigan, sharing the ice with teams such as the Columbus Blue Jackets, Detroit Red Wings and Pittsburgh Penguins.
The upcoming schedule not only highlights the Stars' preparation strategy but also underscores the growing importance of preseason tournaments in player development across the league.
