The Coahulla Creek Lady Colts made history as the first girls soccer program from Dalton‑area schools to reach a state championship match, finishing as the 2A runners‑up. Head coach Shannon Coley praised the team’s talent and the community’s steadfast support.

The Dalton Catamounts captured their eighth state championship, reinforcing their status as a premier soccer program. Senior midfielder Joe Gonzalez said playing before a hometown crowd felt like a World Cup final.
