Dani Carnegie, a guard for Iowa women's basketball, has been selected for the 2026 USA 3×3 Women’s Nations League Team, a roster that blends veteran poise with the energy of emerging Division I talent.
A Squad Built for the Americas Conference
The team features five additional Division I standouts: Sunaja ‘Nunu’ Agara from Stanford, Imari Berry from Louisville, McKinna Brackens from Arizona State, Katie Fiso from Oregon, and Tori McKinney from Minnesota. Together, they represent a new generation of American 3×3 players poised to make an impact on the international stage.
In May, the six players gathered for a USA Basketball 3×3 Development Camp before heading to a 3X showcase in Arizona, where Carnegie, Fiso and McKinney captured the championship title, underscoring their chemistry and competitive edge.
Chile’s Capital to Host the Tournament
From June 27 through July 3, the Americas Conference will take place in Ñuñoa, a bustling district of Santiago, Chile. The event will bring together the continent’s strongest national squads, offering Carnegie and her teammates a chance to test themselves against top regional competition.
Beyond the upcoming tournament, the selection reflects a broader push by USA Basketball to develop 3×3 talent at the collegiate level. By integrating players from diverse programs, the organization aims to cultivate depth and resilience that can sustain success in future FIBA 3×3 World Tour events.
