The move marks the end of Carr’s brief attempt to re‑establish himself in North America after a modest 16‑goal, 31‑point showing with the Milwaukee Admirals in the 2023‑24 season.
A Familiar Path in a New Setting
Carr’s overseas résumé includes five seasons with HC Lugano, where he compiled 132 points in 156 games and proved his ability to thrive in the Swiss style of play.
His previous stint in the Swiss league culminated in a 2019‑20 campaign that yielded 23 goals and 50 points in 47 games for the Milwaukee Admirals, a performance that helped cement his reputation as a reliable point‑producer.
While his NHL résumé features 117 appearances and a memorable MVP season with the Chicago Wolves, Carr has struggled to translate that success at the highest level, making just six NHL games with the Vegas Golden Knights.
