Twenty-two-year-old Daniel Dye has inked a multi-year contract that will keep him behind the wheel of the No. 32 Chevrolet in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series beginning in 2027. The agreement represents the first long-term commitment in the history of Jordan Anderson Racing, a team based in Florida that has traditionally operated on a race-by-race basis.
A milestone for a fledgling team
Jordan Anderson, the team’s president, said the deal provides the stability needed to make strategic investments and to compete more consistently on the national stage. He emphasized that the contract aligns with the organization’s long-term vision and its ambition to grow beyond its modest roots.
The partnership is anchored by Champion Container, which will serve as the primary sponsor for Dye’s campaign. In addition to his racing duties, Dye will represent the campaign in the Race to Stop Suicide initiative, using his platform to promote mental-health awareness.
Dye brings a solid résumé to the seat, having logged 48 starts across four seasons in the O’Reilly Series with ten top-10 finishes. He has also contested the NASCAR Truck Series and made early-season appearances in the Cup Series, giving him a breadth of experience that the team believes will translate into stronger performances.
The contract was officially announced at Daytona International Speedway on August 28, 2024, a venue that has long been a touchstone for major racing announcements. Dye, a graduate of Father Lopez High School, expressed excitement about proving his abilities at a higher level of competition.
