Three years after the tragic loss of his brother Dion, Dante Stutts has returned to the gridiron, this time not as a player but as a coach guiding the next wave of talent at a University of Arkansas football camp.
A Brother's Legacy Lives On
The camp, which runs from June 1 through June 3, welcomes boys and girls between the ages of six and seventeen, regardless of skill level, offering a rare chance to learn from a former Razorback who once wore the same jersey with pride.
Held on the storied grounds of Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium, the event blends on‑field drills with workshops designed to foster character development, teamwork and resilience.
Dante’s own journey, from his freshman debut in 2014 to his final season in 2017, reflects a deep connection to the university’s football tradition, a bond he now seeks to pass on through mentorship and example.
For him, the camp is more than a series of practice sessions; it is a living tribute to the values his brother embodied — leadership, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to community.
Participants leave not only with improved techniques but also with lessons in accountability and perseverance, qualities Dante says were instilled in him by Dion and that he now strives to teach.
