Da’Realyst Clark Earns Prestigious Preseason All‑America Honors

The Kent State return specialist is recognized among the nation's top kick returners as the 2026 season approaches

Da'Realyst Clark, a Kent State return specialist, has earned a spot on the Walter Camp Football Foundation's Preseason All‑America First Team, a distinction that places him among the nation’s most dangerous kick returners heading into the 2026 campaign.

Preseason Honors

During the 2025 season Clark logged 16 kickoff returns for 452 yards, including two touchdowns that topped the country. His average of 28.3 yards per return ranked fourth nationally, and a 100‑yard sprint to the end zone against Merrimack served as the game‑winning highlight.

Clark also proved he could make an impact beyond the return game, catching three passes for 108 yards and a touchdown, and completing two of two attempts for 39 yards and a score in a win over Bowling Green.

The accolades continued with MAC Special Teams Player of the Year, All‑MAC First Team honors, and a place on the HERO Sports G5 All‑American Third Team, while Athlon Sports also listed him on its Preseason All‑America First Team and the Jet Award watch list.

Kent State will open its 2026 schedule on the road against South Carolina on September 5, a test that will showcase how Clark’s preseason momentum translates to the larger stage.
