Academic Excellence Meets Athletic Achievement
The American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) has revealed its latest cohort of All-American Scholars, and this year three members of Dartmouth’s women’s hockey team earned the distinction.
Senior Maura Fiorenza, a neuroscience and classical studies major, appeared in all 31 games for the Big Green, contributing two points and making 36 saves that placed her among the top defenders in the league.
Junior Hamilton Doster, a government major, suited up for every contest, finishing the season with nine points and capping his campaign with a game-winning goal against No. 9 Clarkson.
Junior Eleanor Rogers, a psychology major, saw limited action between the posts, appearing in two games and registering two saves during a brief stretch of play.
The honor marks a second AHCA All-American Scholar designation for both Fiorenza and Doster, while Rogers receives the award for the first time, highlighting a growing culture of academic achievement within the program.
The recognition underscores Dartmouth’s emphasis on integrating rigorous scholarship with competitive athletics, reinforcing the university’s broader mission to foster well-rounded leaders.
