Summer Practice Begins at the University of Dayton
The University of Dayton's men's basketball program opened its eight‑week summer training camp this week, as players reported to campus to begin conditioning and skill work.
The roster will be bolstered by six new transfers, each bringing a different set of experiences to the program.
Six Transfers Arrive with Fresh Ambitions
Among the newcomers are Travis Perry, Jalen Haynes, Tristian Ford, Zaide Lowery, Grant Randall and Landen Joseph, all of whom have signed contracts to join the Flyers for the upcoming season.
Jalen Haynes' Road to Recovery
Haynes, who recently underwent knee surgery, posted on Instagram to thank supporters and to affirm his commitment to rehabilitation and competition.
While his full health status for the summer remains uncertain, the guard expressed confidence that he will return to full strength in time for the next campaign.
A Summer of Growth
The eight‑week schedule, running from mid‑June through the first week of August, provides the team with an intensive window to integrate the new talent and fine‑tune strategies before the regular season begins.
