A Homecoming for a Titan Legend
Delaney Dombek Lindahl has rejoined the Cal State Fullerton Titans women's soccer program, this time on the coaching side of the ball. After a standout playing career that spanned 2018 through 2021, she will now help shape the next generation of Titan defenders and midfielders.
Head Coach Demian Brown expressed genuine excitement about the appointment, emphasizing Lindahl's deep understanding of the program and the influence she wielded as a player. "Her experience on the field and her commitment to the Titan ethos make her an invaluable addition to our staff," Brown said in the announcement.
During her collegiate years, Lindahl earned multiple All‑Big West honors, including a First Team selection in 2021 and a Second Team nod in 2019. She was also a key contributor to the Titans' defensive unit that captured the 2019 Big West Regular Season and Tournament titles, helping the squad secure a historic championship.
Beyond college, Lindahl tested her abilities professionally in several countries. She spent time with Fort Lauderdale United in the USL Super League, competed in Romania's top division with CFR Cluj, and later played for Preston Lions Football Club in Australia. These international stints have equipped her with a broad tactical perspective that she now brings to her coaching role.
The Titans' women's soccer team will look to blend Lindahl's defensive acumen with fresh strategic insights as they aim to maintain their recent momentum. Her appointment underscores the program's commitment to leveraging alumni expertise to sustain competitive excellence.
