DePaul Athletics has unveiled a daring initiative called "The DePaul 500," a campaign to sell 500 season tickets for the university’s women’s basketball team before the 2026‑27 season opens.
The effort targets the season‑opening showdown against Evansville on November 3, 2026, and offers tickets starting at $125 across four distinct seating tiers. In addition to purchasing a seat, fans can sponsor a $125 end‑zone spot for a youth, veteran or community member, while donations can also be directed to the Doug Bruno Fund for Basketball Excellence.
Progress toward the 500‑ticket goal will be displayed in real time on DePaulBlueDemons.com, the official site where supporters can claim seats and stay updated on the drive.
Existing season‑ticket holders are being asked to rally family and friends to experience the action at Wintrust Arena, the program’s home venue, as the university looks to blend commerce with community.
Program Leadership Speaks
DeWayne Peevy, DePaul’s Senior Vice President and Director of Athletics, said the campaign reflects a broader ambition to deepen fan involvement and accelerate the growth of the women’s basketball program.
Head coach Jill M. Pizzotti echoed the sentiment, emphasizing that a packed arena will not only boost the team’s energy but also reinforce the strong connection between the players and the Chicago community.
Fans interested in securing seats or learning more about the initiative can visit DePaulBlueDemons.com, where detailed information and the ticket‑office contact — tickets@depaul.edu and (773) 325‑7527 — are available.
