A Prattville Standout Ascends
Deshawn Hall, a senior at Prattville High School, has quickly become one of the most talked‑about wide receivers in Alabama’s Class 7A. After moving back to Prattville, he left the AISA ranks and immediately faced the state’s top competition, recording 186 receiving yards and a touchdown in his first two games of the 2025 season.
His performance has drawn the attention of SEC programs, with his father, Letwan Hall, who also coaches the school’s boys basketball team, playing a pivotal role in the family’s outreach to college assistants. Hall recently attended an invite‑only camp hosted by Minnesota Vikings star Justin Jefferson, where he refined his route running against elite talent.
Recognition and Recruitment
Analysts now rank Hall as the ninth best prospect in the 247 Sports Composite and label him the top wide receiver in the state. The buzz has prompted assistants from Auburn University, Clemson University, Penn State University, Ohio State University, University of Tennessee and University of Michigan to visit, each expressing strong interest in securing his commitment.
Beyond the on‑field accolades, Hall is weighing the possibility of graduating early to enroll in a college program, a move that could accelerate his path to the SEC. His focus remains on maximizing his senior season, aiming to cement his legacy in Prattville before heading to the next level.
