A sweeping overhaul of the Lions’ staff
The Detroit Lions used a recent announcement to detail a series of personnel moves that will reshape the franchise’s front office. From new scouting appointments to leadership elevations in player personnel, the changes reflect a deliberate effort to modernize the team’s approach to talent evaluation and operational efficiency.
Blake Ask joins the club as a Pro Scout, while Paul Bargerstock takes on the role of Director of Football Information Systems. The team also welcomed John Collins as a Scouting Assistant and Justin DeLeon as a Nunn Wooten Scouting Fellow, bolstering the scouting department with fresh expertise.
Promotions within the personnel advisory group include Chris Grier’s elevation to Personnel Advisor and Joseph Harvey’s hiring as a BLESTO Scout. Paul Ibrahim now serves as Manager of Decision Science & Football Information, and Dwayne Joseph has been elevated to Vice President of Player Personnel, overseeing broader strategic initiatives.
The Lions also announced a wave of leadership changes in scouting and roster operations. Joe Kelleher was named Director of Pro Scouting, Rob Lohman moved to Vice President of Roster Operations/Evaluations, and Mark Olson took on the role of Assistant Director of College Scouting. Ademi Smith and Austin White round out the scouting cohort as Area Scout and Auxiliary Scout respectively.
Technology and equipment management have also seen significant updates. Levi Wilson now leads the charge as Sr. Director of Football Technology, while Lauren Crawford serves as Team Operations Coordinator. Joey Jaroshewich was promoted to Sr. Manager of Equipment, and Tim O’Neill will direct Equipment Operations. Khamari Prude joins as Equipment Coordinator, and Fred Murphy and Grant Steen round out the strength and conditioning staff as Fellow and Assistant respectively.
