Donchez Graham Named Associate Head Coach of Indiana State Women’s Basketball

Veteran coach adds 25 years of experience to the Sycamores' staff

Indiana State University announced today that Donchez Graham will join the Sycamores women's basketball program as associate head coach, bringing a wealth of experience to the role.

Graham, a veteran of more than two decades in college basketball, previously served as an assistant at Delaware State, Morgan State, the College of Charleston and West Virginia, where he contributed to significant defensive improvements and postseason appearances.

A proven developer of talent

During his nine‑year stint at Morgan State, the program posted 120 victories and captured a share of the MEAC regular‑season title in 2022, earning a WNIT berth.

At the College of Charleston, he helped the Cougars to 35 wins and two postseason tournaments, while his defensive schemes consistently lowered opponents' scoring averages.

Marc Mitchell, the head coach at Indiana State, praised Graham's track record, stating that his emphasis on discipline and player development aligns perfectly with the program's goals.

The addition of Graham is expected to bolster recruiting efforts and on‑court performance as the Sycamores aim for a strong showing in the upcoming season.
