Six‑time NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour champion Doug Coby is back behind the wheel, this time piloting for Jett Motorsports, a freshly assembled program co‑owned by Jariah Roderick and Steve Rollins.
The partnership marks Coby’s latest attempt to blend his veteran skill with a team that promises fresh sponsors and a push toward Victory Lane. While the first three races have yielded a best finish of ninth at Seekonk Speedway, the driver remains bullish about the road ahead.
Coby’s only win so far with the new organization came at Monadnock Speedway in 2023, a victory that underscored his ability to adapt quickly. He now sets his sights on White Mountain Motorsports Park, a venue where he has tasted success before, hoping to replicate that magic.
Working alongside crew chief John McKenna, Coby says the collaborative atmosphere at Jett Motorsports is already paying dividends. ‘We’ve built something productive,’ he notes, emphasizing that the technical side is as important as the driver’s instincts.
