Duke University has officially released its non‑conference schedule for the 2026‑27 season, setting the stage for the Blue Devils' fifth year under head coach Jon Scheyer.
A milestone season begins
The campaign opens on November 2 when Duke hosts Army at Cameron Indoor Stadium, marking the first test of a schedule that blends early‑season challenges with nationally televised showcases.
Before the regular season begins, the team will stage three preseason exhibitions against Belmont, Tennessee and Kansas, giving fans an early look at the roster that returns key contributors from a 35‑3 campaign.
Scheyer will lean on the core that helped the club capture both the ACC regular‑season and tournament titles last year, while also integrating the nation’s top recruiting class and three experienced transfers.
Highlight games and national showcases
The schedule features a Champions Classic showdown with Michigan State, a T‑Mobile Arena clash against UConn, and a December 1 meeting with Florida in the ACC/SEC Challenge, followed by a December 8 appearance in the Jimmy V Classic versus Georgia.
Additional non‑conference opponents include Campbell, Grambling State and Texas Tech, while the ACC slate will see Duke travel to traditional rivals such as Boston College, Clemson, Louisville and others.
With a strong roster and a demanding road map, the Blue Devils are positioned to contend for another championship as they begin their fifth season under Coach Jon Scheyer.
