Duke University’s baseball program continues to shine both on the field and in the classroom, as eleven of its student‑athletes were selected for the 2026 All-ACC Academic Team.
Academic Excellence on the Diamond
The conference honors athletes who maintain a minimum 3.0 grade point average while meeting participation thresholds, underscoring the balance of scholarship and sport.
Eligibility requires a 3.0 GPA for the preceding academic year and a cumulative 3.0 throughout a player’s career, with position players needed to appear in at least half of their team’s games and pitchers in at least 20 percent of contests.
Among those honored are Tyler Albright, Collin Anderson, Ben Dean, Michael Dimartini, RJ Hamilton, Jake Lambdin, Bennett LaPalm, Peter Lemke, Marcello Mastroianni, Brooks Perez and Jordan Regulski, each of whom has demonstrated consistent performance and academic dedication.
Their recognition reflects Duke’s broader commitment to developing well‑rounded leaders, a tradition that extends beyond athletics into research, community service and professional preparation.
Coaches and administrators anticipate that this academic distinction will inspire the next cohort of Blue Devils to pursue similar standards of excellence.
