Regulating stadium recordings
Dynamo Dresden, the freshly promoted 2. Bundesliga side, has introduced a strict regulation that any video or photo taken inside the Rudolf‑Harbig-Stadion must be cleared by the club before it can be shared publicly.
The policy is framed as a protective measure for the club’s own media rights as well as those of its television partners, with officials pointing out that while creators can monetize their own footage, the club does not receive any financial return from such content.
Fans occupying the K‑block, who form the club’s ultras community, have been asked to handle their smartphones and other recording devices with restraint, ensuring that the overall atmosphere in the stadium remains welcoming for all attendees.
The stance mirrors actions taken by other German clubs, notably Hansa Rostock, which has previously issued warnings against monetized vlogging and urged supporters to leave recording equipment at home.
Club representatives say the ultimate goal is to create an environment where every visitor feels comfortable and can enjoy the match together, emphasizing mutual respect and consideration among the fan base.
