EA Sports has unveiled the first set of overall ratings for the upcoming FC 27, spotlighting the very best women’s soccer talent ahead of the game’s September 18 early‑access launch.
At the summit sits Alexia Putellas, the Barcelona midfielder who has moved to London City Lionesses of the Women’s Super League, earning a 91 overall rating that places her ahead of all other players.
Close behind, Aitana Bonmati remains with Barcelona and shares a 90 rating with Manchester City’s Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw, a striker whose prolific scoring has kept her among the elite.
Temwa Chawinga, the NWSL standout, climbs to an 89 rating after netting nine goals in eleven matches and guiding Malawi to its maiden Women’s World Cup appearance.
The top tier also includes Sophia Wilson, Melchie Dumornay and Barbra Banda, each locked at 88, while rising stars Yui Hasegawa and Hannah Hampton have each surged three points in the latest update.
How the Ratings Were Determined
EA Sports based the scores on a blend of on‑field performance metrics, statistical modeling and input from seasoned analysts, ensuring that the numbers reflect real‑world contributions across global competitions.
The database spans more than 21,000 players across 800 clubs and 35 leagues, covering 140 stadiums in 140 countries, which gives the ratings a broad, authentic foundation.
Early‑access player ratings will roll out on September 18, with full league ratings released throughout the week, giving fans a comprehensive preview of the new season.
