Warriors Earn Nationwide Honor
The East Central Warriors baseball squad has been crowned the Total Pain Care Team of the Week, a tribute to a season that combined dominance on the diamond with a remarkable finish.
Finishing the campaign with a 48‑15 record, the Warriors posted a team batting average of .361, drove in 713 runs and launched 104 home runs, numbers that placed them among the most potent offenses in the nation.
Historic Numbers Behind the Triumph
Their reward was a berth in the NJCAA Division II College World Series, held in Enid, Oklahoma, where they will join the other top qualifiers competing for the national title.
The team’s journey was overseen by the NJCAA, the governing body for junior college athletics, which will host the tournament at its Enid campus.
Coaches praised the players’ perseverance, noting that the blend of power hitting and disciplined pitching defined their success, while fans and alumni alike are celebrating the milestone and anticipating future triumphs.
