Eastern Mennonite University has named Tori Jankoska as the head coach of its women's basketball program for the 2026‑27 season, appointing a trio of assistants to round out the staff.
A Coaching Team Built for ODAC Success
Travis Muntz joins Jankoska after stints at SUNY Jamestown and as assistant video coordinator for the University of Maryland's women's basketball team, which advanced to the Sweet 16. His experience spans practice planning, player development, and recruiting, giving the Royals a strong foundation for growth.
Marsha Justice, formerly a coach at Bridgewater College and a player with deep roots in the ODAC, brings a blend of collegiate and youth basketball experience. She played high school basketball at Fort Defiance and spent a season at Liberty University before returning to the conference as a coach.
Experience Across the Board
Jankoska emphasizes that the new staff is designed to accelerate the Royals' development within the ODAC, a Division III conference known for its competitive balance and robust recruiting pipelines. Muntz will focus on practice planning and player development, while Justice will handle scouting and community outreach, creating a cohesive unit ready to compete from day one.
The Royals' schedule will test them against traditional powerhouses, but with Jankoska's vision and the assistants' diverse backgrounds, the program aims to punch above its weight in the ODAC. Their combined expertise in player development, recruiting, and basketball operations positions Eastern Mennonite for a promising future.
