The season opens on August 29 with the Welcome Back Bash, a kickoff that invites fans to reconnect after the off‑season and sets the tone for the months ahead. A week later, on September 4, the Built by Eastern game will honor the university’s past while looking forward to its future, offering alumni a chance to relive historic moments on the field.
September 26 brings Community & Champions Day, a tribute that recognizes Hall of Fame inductees and highlights local organizations that support the university’s mission. The following month, on October 17, Homecoming will transform the campus into a week‑long festival of pride, featuring reunions, student‑led activities, and a showcase of Eastern spirit.
Rivalry and Night Shift
The highlight of the November schedule arrives on November 4, when the Motor City MACtion rivalry pits Eastern against Central Michigan at Ford Field. This marquee matchup not only draws regional attention but also grants season ticket holders exclusive access to the game. The season then concludes on November 24 with Night Shift at The Factory, a final home contest against Kent State that promises a lively atmosphere as the campus winds down the year.
