Hockey Sherbrooke’s calendar takes shape
Hockey Sherbrooke announced that the 2026‑27 season will officially open on Saturday, August 15, with teams such as the Harfangs M17 AAA and the M18 D1 relève gearing up for competition. Additional training sessions are slated for Sunday and Monday, while a free female hockey clinic will run from August 15‑16, complemented by a conditioning camp on August 22 that requires prior registration.
The organization will also hold civil‑player testing on August 30, goaltender evaluations on August 30‑31, and begin formal evaluation and training activities in early September, providing a clear pathway for players to move into elite squads.
Cyclists are set to converge on August 22 for a gravel ride organized by Club cycliste Vélo 2000, departing from the Route Verte parking area at 9 a.m. and winding through Mont‑Orford National Park on 71‑ or 87‑kilometre routes that climb 1,000 m or 1,300 m respectively. Participants are asked to bring food and drinks for the four‑hour outing that finishes around 1 p.m.
