Tickets Now On Sale for 2026 Eastern Washington Football Season
Fans looking to catch the Eastern Washington Eagles at home next fall can finally secure their seats. The university has opened single‑game ticket sales for the 2026 campaign, offering access to all six home contests scheduled at the iconic Roos Field in Cheney.
The slate features a mix of traditional rivals and marquee non‑conference matchups. The season opens on September 5 against Northern Iowa at 4 p.m., followed by a Big Sky showdown with Cal Poly on September 26. Homecoming arrives on October 10 when Northern Colorado visits, and the Eagles will also host Montana State on October 17, Montana on October 31, and Portland State on November 21, each kickoff set for 4 p.m. except the Montana game, which will start at 1 p.m.
Adding to the excitement, Eastern Washington returns 11 starters from the previous year, including seven on offense and four on defense. Among them is senior safety Jaylon Jenkins, a Big Sky All‑Conference first‑team selection who led the league with five interceptions last season. Joining Jenkins are fellow veterans Isaiah Perez, Nate Bell and Drew Carter, all poised to contribute to a revitalized attack.
Coach’s staff emphasizes that the upcoming schedule not only tests the team’s depth but also provides a platform for new talent to shine. With the home crowd expected to be electric, the Eagles hope to build momentum toward a potential playoff run.
Key Matchups to Watch
The clash with defending FCS national champion Montana State on October 17 stands out as a pivotal test, while the late‑season showdown against Portland State on November 21 could determine conference standing. Each of these games promises high stakes and a chance for the Eagles to prove their mettle.
