Sumner entered the match with a disciplined defensive shape, shutting out Eastmont for the opening half and keeping the score level at 0-0.
The tide turned after the break when Eastmont’s midfielder Aaron Leon erupted for a hat trick, scoring three quick goals that swung momentum decisively.
Sumner managed to pull one back in the 88th minute, when forward Aiden Vannoy slipped a low strike past the keeper to make it 3-1, but the damage had already been done.
