The ECHL has unveiled the details of its 2027 All-Star Classic, a retro‑themed event that will pit Canadian‑born players against their U.S. counterparts in Boise, Idaho, on January 26 and 27, 2027.
The centerpiece will be a full 60‑minute game that pits the two national sides on the ice, followed by a Skills Competition that will feature six distinct challenges, ranging from the Fastest Skater to the Rapid Shootout.
Retro Jerseys Take Center Stage
Jerseys for the game and the competition have been designed with a patriotic flair. The U.S. squad will wear a cream base with navy blue shoulders and red striping, while the Canadian side will sport a red sweater highlighted by cream stripes and a subtle maple leaf motif.
Both the game jerseys and the Skills Competition uniforms carry the 2027 All-Star Classic logo and each participant’s ECHL team crest, adding a personal touch that ties the event to the players’ club affiliations.
This marks the second time Boise has hosted the ECHL All-Star Classic, the first having taken place in 2007, underscoring the city’s growing role in the league’s showcase.
Fans can expect a blend of competition and nostalgia, as the retro designs evoke classic hockey aesthetics while the matchup promises high‑stakes play.
