The 2026 ECHL Hockey Summer Meetings descended on Nashville Tennessee drawing nearly 400 representatives from ECHL member clubs and a host of affiliated leagues. ECHL Commissioner Ryan Crelin opened the proceedings with his annual State of the ECHL address outlining strategic initiatives and celebrating the leagues resilience amid a competitive landscape. Attendees then dispersed into breakout sessions led by industry professionals from teams such as the Atlanta Gladiators the Maine Mariners and the Worcester Sharks. These workshops explored topics ranging from arena technology to community outreach allowing participants to exchange best practices and forge partnerships that could shape the next decade of minor league hockey.
Awards, Incentives, and Networking
A highlight of the agenda was the announcement that the Atlanta Gladiators would receive a complete set of dasher board and under ice graphics for the upcoming 2026 27 season a prize that underscores the leagues commitment to enhancing broadcast production values. The event also included a Welcome Reception and a Vendors Showcase that spotlighted more than 30 companies giving executives a chance to explore new equipment software and sponsorship opportunities.
The festivities concluded with the ECHL Awards Show where individual and team achievements from the 2025 26 season were recognized on stage. Among the honorees were standout players and coaches whose contributions had defined a memorable season. The ceremony was followed by a Women in Sports Networking Event presented by MAVRX Sports Housing which connected female professionals across the hockey ecosystem.
