He fanned 15 batters, allowing just three hits and a single walk, while also contributing two hits at the plate, including a double.
The Crusaders’ bats were sparked by senior first baseman Jake Miller, who collected two hits and drove in two runs, and sophomore shortstop Luke Miller, who added two hits of his own.
Greensburg Central Catholic’s starter, sophomore Jake Wilt, surrendered three runs on six hits over six innings, striking out four before the final out.
With the 3‑0 victory, Eden Christian improved to 18‑2 on the season and secured the school’s first WPIAL baseball championship since 2004.
The win punches their ticket to the PIAA playoffs, where they will meet the champion of the District 6‑1A bracket, a showdown between Clarion and DuBois Central Catholic.
Meanwhile, Greensburg Central Catholic finishes the year at 14‑6 and will await a possible at‑large berth into the state tournament.
