The El Paso Times has released its All‑City girls soccer team for the 2025‑26 high school season, a tribute to the athletes and mentors who shaped a memorable year on the pitch.
MVP and Coach of the Year
Kylie Alvarez from El Paso High was named Player of the Year after a spectacular campaign that produced 22 goals and 12 assists, while Peter Fargo, also of El Paso High, earned Coach of the Year honors after steering his team to 18 wins and a district championship.
The recognition extends beyond the headline awardees, with a deep pool of talent that illustrated the competitive balance across the region’s programs.
Offensive standouts
Scarlett Orwig of Franklin captured District 1‑6A Offensive MVP after scoring 19 goals and adding three assists, while Isabella Prieto of El Paso High tallied 36 goals and 10 assists, underscoring her role as a primary offensive engine.
Nadia Soto from Pebble Hills contributed 13 goals and seven assists, helping the team secure a playoff berth for the second time in school history, and Bella Escobar, the team captain, added 19 goals and eight assists for Americas.
Nikki Carrillo of Americas posted 16 goals and seven assists, rounding out a formidable attacking lineup that combined experience with emerging talent.
Defensive excellence
Addison Garcia of Pebble Hills was a wall in goal, recording 14 clean sheets and allowing only 11 goals all season, while Sofia Souici of Franklin permitted just six goals in district play and was instrumental in three penalty‑shootout victories.
Jazlinn Berry of Eastlake finished the year with 113 saves and 14 clean sheets, providing stability between the posts for her squad.
Regional honors
Del Valle’s Davi Dominguez and Alexiia Tello earned TASCO second‑team All‑Region accolades after posting 16 goals with 10 assists and 19 goals with 14 assists respectively, highlighting the broader impact of local programs on the wider soccer landscape.
