Graduation stripped the roster of its senior core, leaving a younger lineup that must adapt quickly, but the coaching staff has already identified a promising replacement between the posts.
A deliberate preseason schedule
Head coach Lauren Meier has intentionally arranged tougher opponents to sharpen the team’s defensive discipline and prepare them for postseason challenges.
At the heart of the squad are three senior leaders—Maddix Morton, Isla Grindstaff and Kaylee Tester—who bring experience, versatility, and vocal guidance.
Morton operates as a midfield workhorse, Grindstaff’s versatility allows her to fill multiple positions, and Tester anchors the defensive line while serving as a vocal organizer.
Junior forward Vella Nave returns as the team’s primary offensive threat after three seasons of proven scoring.
In goal, sophomore Addie Tyler has stepped into the starting role, impressing with composure, while sophomore Mea Michaud provides depth as backup.
