Elon Student-Athletes Earn CAA Academic Honors
The Coastal Athletic Association announced its Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll for the 2026 spring semester, recognizing a record 256 student-athletes from Elon University who have distinguished themselves in the classroom while competing in CAA-sponsored sports.
CAA officials highlighted three tiers of academic achievement — High Honors with Distinction, High Honors and Honors — that reflect varying levels of scholarly performance among the honorees.
Among the Elon cohort, 62 athletes secured High Honors with Distinction, 79 earned High Honors, and 115 were placed in the Honors category, underscoring a broad spectrum of academic excellence across the university's athletic programs.
To qualify for the honor roll, each student-athlete must participate in a CAA-sanctioned sport, maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, and be enrolled full-time, ensuring that academic rigor is woven into the fabric of collegiate competition.
