Errol K. Seaver has been re‑elected to serve another term as the Chad Bunn Legacy President of the Collegiate Sports Video Association, a position he first held seven years ago. The election underscores confidence in his leadership as the organization looks to expand its influence across college and professional video production.
A Career Spanning Two Powerhouses
At North Carolina State, Seaver serves as Director of Football Visual Production, where he oversees a complex media infrastructure for the Wolfpack football program. Earlier in his career he built a reputation at Brigham Young University, directing football video and technology before moving to Raleigh.
Award‑Winning Excellence
His work has earned multiple honors, including the Bob Matey National Video Coordinator of the Year award in May and the 2024‑2025 Atlantic Coast Conference Video Coordinator of the Year title. Notably, he is the first professional to capture the Matey award at two different institutions, reflecting a sustained impact across both coasts.
Seaver also manages a technical ecosystem that includes more than one hundred workstations, over one hundred fifty iPads and five media servers, ensuring that the Wolfpack’s production pipeline remains cutting‑edge.
The CSVA’s Mission and History
Founded in 1994, the Collegiate Sports Video Association unites video coordinators from college football, basketball, high school football, the Canadian Football League, the United Football League and the National Football League. Its purpose is to evaluate professional standards, facilitate information exchange, promote ethical practices and raise public awareness of the behind‑the‑scenes role.
