Ethan Lund, a left‑handed pitcher from Oklahoma State University, has earned a spot on the USA Baseball 2026 Collegiate National Team.
A standout sophomore season
During his second year with the Cowboys, Lund ranked second nationally with 137 strikeouts and third in strikeouts per nine innings, posting a 5‑3 record and a 5.34 ERA across 84 1/3 innings.
He also contributed two relief appearances in the Stars and Stripes Exhibition Series, finishing 1‑0 with seven strikeouts in five innings while allowing just one run on three hits.
Road to Taiwan
The national squad will compete in the World Collegiate Baseball Championship in Taichung City, where games are slated for the Taichung City Intercontinental Baseball Stadium.
Lund joins a distinguished group of Oklahoma State alumni, becoming the 16th player from the program to wear a Team USA uniform and the fourth under head coach Josh Holliday.
Joining him on the roster are fellow Cowboys such as Justin Campbell, Gabe Davis and Nolan Schubart, all of whom bring additional depth to the pitching staff.
The upcoming championship promises to showcase the next generation of collegiate talent, with Lund poised to add his name to a growing list of OSU successes on the international stage.
