Evan Carlson, a redshirt senior forward for Drake University’s men’s soccer team, was selected as the Missouri Valley Conference’s Player of the Week for the opening week of the 2026 season.
He opened the campaign with two goals in as many appearances, striking in the 1‑1 draw with Central Arkansas and again in the stalemate against Creighton. Those strikes not only helped the Bulldogs earn crucial points but also placed him within a single goal of his all‑time single‑season high.
