Rattler Football Opens Doors to New Talent
Florida A&M University is reaching out to aspiring student‑athletes with an open invitation to join its football program for the upcoming season.
The university will host an interest meeting on Friday, August 28, at 10 a.m., providing a forum for prospective players to learn about the team’s vision and requirements.
A second milestone arrives on Friday, September 12, when the Rattlers will conduct official tryouts at the same time, offering athletes a chance to showcase their abilities in front of the coaching staff.
Eligibility is strict: participants must be enrolled as full‑time students at FAMU and must have completed a physical examination by Monday, August 31, with the paperwork submitted at the Field House.
To streamline the application process, a QR code printed on the official flyer directs students to the online physical form, ensuring that all necessary documentation is collected efficiently.
University officials emphasize that the new cohort will help sustain the program’s competitive edge and foster school spirit across campus.
