A Renewed Rivalry Returns to Quincy
The Feather River College football program is set to begin its 2026 campaign on August 29, when it hosts Shasta College at the college's home field in Quincy, California. The matchup revives a storied Northern California rivalry that has drawn regional attention for years.
Feather River College enters the season as the defending Pacific 7 Conference champions, having captured the 2025 American Division title. The team hopes to build on that momentum as it faces a familiar opponent.
Admission to the game is free for current Feather River College students, staff, Quincy Junior‑Senior High School students and children under 12. General admission for other students is priced at $3, seniors at $4 and adults at $5, with the college urging spectators to use designated parking areas and observe all posted rules.
Pets are not permitted in the stadium, although service animals will be allowed in accordance with applicable law. For those unable to attend in person, a live stream will be available through the FRC Athletics website.
